2022 CHINESE SONG SINGING COMPETITION
1 - 31 May 2022 – The Mandarin Language Society (MLS) organised a Super Singer Singing Competition on campus that was opened to all Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students.
The main objectives of organising this competition were to provide a platform for students to practice their Mandarin, showcase their talents, and increase their interest in learning Mandarin by singing a Chinese Mandarin song.
A total of 10 UMP students took part in this singing competition where they can opt to sing songs of their choice either in solo category or as a duo.
To take part, the participants were required to record their singing and submitted their videos by posting it on the Mandarin Language Society (MLS) Official Facebook.
The winner will be decided based on a voting session involving the supporters of each of the participants and the social media engagement garnered from the video uploaded such as the likes, comments and sharing of the posts.
From the submission received, three videos with the highest number of likes were chosen as the winners and the results were announced through MLS Official Facebook on 2 June 2022.
