CInTELL 2021 VIRTUAL MODERATION WITH THE JUDGES

Thursday 19 August 2021- A short moderation meeting was held via Google Meet with two invited judges for the 2nd CInTeLL (Creative and Innovative Teaching and Learning of Language) 2021 or known as ClnTeLL 2021 competition. This competition is created to showcase the latest teaching innovations and practices through a virtual exhibition competition.

CInTELL 2021 has marked its own history as it was conducted virtually for the first time. The first CInTeLL was held in Universiti Malaysia Pahang in 2018. The moderation session was chaired by Madam Nabila Abdul Malek, the Deputy Director of ICOLLT CInTELL 2021 and attended by the two judges, Associate Professor Ts Dr. Murizah Kassim from Universiti Teknologi MARA Shah Alam, Selangor and Dr. Satirah Ahmad from Institut Pendidikan Guru, Kampus Sultan Abdul Halim, Kedah.

At the beginning of the session, the Director of ICOLLT, Associate Professor Dr. Ainol Hayati Ibrahim gave her welcome speech to both judges and thanked them for their willingness to accept the invitation as the judges. The 1-hour meeting discussed on the flow of the program and the evaluation process to be followed by the judges. Though we only had 9 participations for CInTeLL 2021, all the participants have valuable input and sharing of teaching practices and innovations which should be shared with other educators. CInTeLL 2021 results were announced on Thursday a week after the moderation in a live session. It is hoped that CInTeLL 2021 will inspire educators to explore and implement new technologies and innovations in teaching and learning.
